Meet: Skyler

Skyler is a little over a year old now. She has two "sisters" named Kayla and Krystal and a "brother" named Seyko. They are adorable and love playing together. They each have their own bed, but INSIST on sleeping on a pink towel. They are Daddy's Little Girls!! ...and now Mommy's Boy!!

At the time, we were a one cat household. Kayla was my brother's cat though. And we had been taking care of her, but I wanted one of my own. We spent the day in Dorney Park in August of 2006 with Michael's family and on the way back to his parent's house, Michael thought we should take a detour. We ended up at the Palmer Mall in Easton, PA and walked right into the pet store. There was a cage with all black kitties. 6 of them, but there was this one little girl who was so tiny and stood out to me. Of course I wanted her, but Michael said we didn't need one especially cause we were spending the night at his parent's. Well, we headed home and then later that night, Michael said, "If you're a good girl, we can go back tomorrow and get the kitten." So of course, we went back the next morning and there she was. By this time, there were only three kittens left and the one I wanted was still there. We bought her and took her home. She cried all the way home and kept trying to scratch at my seat belt and get loose. I decided to name her Skyler after one of my students. And the rest is history.
